Teach household measurement with the REINVENTION Trilogy

Lived experience and rigorous inquiry in a practical teaching exercise

Give learners a household case, distinct scoring anchors and evidence they must examine. The free Instructor Sampler lets you reproduce a Durability Index exercise before deciding whether to adopt the curriculum.

The REINVENTION Trilogy moves from reinvention to lived experience as system intelligence, then to household measurement and The Durability Economy Workforce Architecture. Its teaching approach pairs lived-experience insight with evidence appraisal, transparent calculations and explicit limits on what a score can establish.

See the teaching method

Start with Teach One Household. Learners score an authored fictional case, justify their anchor choices and withhold a score when essential evidence is missing.

The worked key makes the calculations reproducible. A separate rubric assesses the learner's evidence use, arithmetic and interpretation, not whether the fictional household improves.

Find the fit for your program

The materials support evaluation by chairs and instructors in criminal justice, social work, public administration, workforce and labor studies, family studies, sociology and education. Workforce development boards and company training teams can use the same case to examine measurement and service coordination.

The sample syllabus sets out a 15-week course. Consider the full course, a module within an existing course, or a facilitated training session. Select the learning outcomes and delivery format that fit your setting.

Teaching a reentry week inside a course you already teach? Book One, Stop Calling It Reentry: It's REINVENTION, works as a one-to-two-week unit supplement. See the Book One course supplement.

From evaluation to adoption

Request the free digital sampler first. Print exam copies are available after verification of a current teaching, curriculum-selection or organizational training role, at printing cost plus shipping.

Verified adopters receive the free core Instructor Kit. The published Kit contents identify the available teaching materials; institutional support or broader licensing is discussed separately and is not required for core Kit access.

All three books are available on Amazon in Kindle and paperback. View the books.

Request the sampler

Tell us your organization, role and intended course or training use. An institutional or work email helps verification; a personal address can be reviewed with other evidence of your role.

We aim to review print-copy and support requests within two business days. The digital sampler does not require you to buy books or schedule a call.
